The pro shop is located at the main entrance of Velocity Island Park, right next to the check-in counter. Stop in before your session to browse gear, pick up sunscreen, or grab a snack. Our staff are all riders themselves and can help you find the right board for your skill level and riding style.
The pro shop is open during regular park hours. No appointment or reservation needed.
Every person working in the pro shop is an active wakeboarder. That matters a lot when you are trying to figure out which board is right for you. The difference between a beginner board and an intermediate board is not just price. It is the rocker profile, the flex pattern, the binding stiffness, and how the board responds when you are learning to edge. Our staff can walk you through all of it without making you feel like you should have googled it first.
If you are buying your first board, bring your weight, shoe size, and an honest assessment of your skill level. We will narrow it down to two or three options, have you stand on them, and let you ask as many questions as you need. If you have been riding for a few years and are ready to level up, we can point you toward what the park's more experienced riders are using and why.
Unused gear in original condition can be exchanged. Once a board or binding has been ridden, it cannot be returned. This is why we strongly recommend the try-before-you-buy rental program before committing to a purchase.
Yes. We can swap bindings onto a new board, re-drill mounting inserts, and handle basic repairs in most cases. Stop by the shop and we will take a look at what you need.
Your rental fee is credited toward the purchase price of the same board model. It is the closest thing to a free trial on a purchase you will find anywhere.
Absolutely. We stock boards specifically built for learners including softer flexes, continuous rockers, and wider profiles that are more forgiving when you are still figuring out your edges. We also stock beginner-friendly boot bindings that are easier to get in and out of quickly.
