Lakefront Ceremony Grounds

Private Pier
A private pier extending over the water. Perfect for photos, grand entrances, or a quiet moment during the celebration. This is one of the most photographed spots at the park.
Courtyard

Waterfront Lawn
A massive grassy area along the lake with capacity for 1,500+ guests. Previously used for concerts and car shows. Ideal for outdoor seating, lawn games, or large-scale celebrations that go beyond the main venue.

Costa Fuego handles catering for events at The Silos. Full menu options, custom menus for your celebration, and service for 20 to 300+ guests. Bar service is also available.

Go all out with a full day at the park followed by an evening party at The Silos. Or keep it casual with a beach bonfire and a group dinner at Costa Fuego. Sweet 16 celebrations here can be as formal or laid-back as the birthday girl wants.

We Work With Your Team
Bringing your own event planner, DJ, photographer, or florist? Great. We welcome outside vendors and will coordinate with your team to make sure everything runs smoothly. Our staff handles the venue logistics, food, and park activities so your event planner can focus on the details that make your celebration yours.

The Silos event space accommodates up to 300 guests. Costa Fuego can cater events from 20 to 300+ people. We have the space and the kitchen to handle celebrations of all sizes.

Woodland, CA. 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento, right next to Davis and UC Davis, and 12 miles from Sacramento International Airport.

Common questions about celebrations at Velocity Island
The Silos is best suited for events of 50 or more guests, though we can accommodate smaller groups depending on the date and configuration. For gatherings under 50, a private dining arrangement at Costa Fuego or a reserved beach site may be a better fit. Contact us and we will find the right option for your size.
Catering at The Silos is handled through Costa Fuego, our on-site restaurant. Outside caterers are not permitted. Costa Fuego offers a full menu and can create custom catering packages for your event including passed appetizers, buffet setups, plated dinners, and dessert stations. Bar service is also available through Costa Fuego.
Yes. We welcome outside vendors including DJs, photographers, florists, and event planners. Our staff will coordinate with your team on load-in times, setup requirements, and event flow. We provide the venue, catering, and park logistics. Your vendors handle everything else.
For summer weekend dates, we recommend booking 2 to 3 months in advance since the park is at its busiest and venue availability is limited. Weekday events and off-season dates typically have more flexibility. Reach out as early as possible to lock in your preferred date.
Yes. Many celebration packages include access to the aqua park, swim beach, or wakeboard sessions for guests during the daytime portion of the event. This is one of the things that sets Velocity Island apart from other venues. Guests can spend the day on the water and then gather for the formal evening reception at The Silos.
